Dexter’s Kitties, Inc. was formed by a small group of passionate animal lovers in the Lake Nona area who realized we are Stronger Together.
Our mission is to end the suffering of homeless cats and prevent euthanasia by rescuing, providing spay/neuter services, and finding loving, permanent homes for cats ready for adoption.
Our Mission: Building a Compassionate Community for Cats

Promoting Responsible Pet Ownership: We educate the public on the benefits of early spay/neuter for both personal pets and community cats, reducing pet homelessness and unwanted litters.

Empowering TNR Programs: We equip and support neighborhood volunteers with training, traps, and financial assistance to run successful Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) programs, humanely managing feral cat populations.

Fostering Loving Homes: We recruit and support foster families with training, emotional support, and financial aid for feline medical care, preparing adoptable cats for their forever homes.

Forever Families for Felines: We find loving, permanent homes for all adoptable rescue cats, ensuring they receive the love and care they deserve.

Supporting Community Cat Care: We work alongside volunteers to provide essential care for community cat colonies, promoting their well-being.
