Meet Sugar

 

Named “Sugar” because she is literally just that sweet — and once you meet her, you’ll understand why everyone falls in love with her so quickly.

 

Sugar is a beautiful gray tabby with a tuxedo pattern, complete with adorable white paws and gorgeous striping down her legs. She has the kind of face that melts hearts instantly.

 

At just 3 months old, Sugar already has a wonderfully balanced personality. She is gentle, loving, social, and very people-oriented. She loves being close to her humans — whether that means sleeping curled up beside you at night, greeting you excitedly in the morning, or sneaking over for a daytime nap nearby (and trying to convince you to nap too!).

 

Sugar would likely do well in a home with other pets because she is so family-friendly and easygoing. She handles loud noises and busy environments very well and enjoys being around people. While she loves attention and companionship, she’s also happy entertaining herself with toys and playful kitten adventures.

 

One of the sweetest things about Sugar is how affectionate she is. She loves to purr and make biscuits, yet she is not a talkative cat and rarely meows. Because she’s so sneaky-quiet, she should keep her collar and bell on — otherwise you may discover her happily napping behind a door somewhere after silently following you into a room!

 

She also has an adorable playful streak — complete with dramatic little jumps, playful poses, and “Halloween cat” antics that will keep you smiling every day.

 

Sugar is the perfect mix of cuddly companion and playful kitten charm, and she’s ready to bring a lot of love into her future home.

 

Adoption Information – Please Read Carefully

Most of Dexter's Kitties are spayed/neutered, microchipped, SNAP combo tested (sometimes we go by litter mate or mother cat status), and vaccinated according to their age.

Adoption Fees:

 $150 for one kitten

 $250 for a bonded pair

If you   rent   your home, we respectfully ask for your landlord or management company’s contact info to verify that pets are allowed. If you   own   your home, we will confirm ownership through public records.

Please note: We are an all-volunteer team and do our best to respond promptly. Applications that provide the most detailed and helpful information will be prioritized to help us make the best match for both you and the kitty.

   Cats can live 20+ years.   Adopting is a lifelong commitment. Please ensure you have:

– Financial resources for emergency vet care

– A stable and cat-friendly home

– A backup plan for your cat’s care if something happens to you
