Meet MoonPie – Your Gentle, Sweet Companion

Looking for a tender-hearted friend to share your days with? MoonPie might be the one for you!

This beautiful tortoiseshell girl has the silkiest fur and a calm, fun loving and affectionate nature. After chasing her balls and string toys, she loves curling up beside you or on your lap—whether you’re reading, watching TV, or settling in for a nap. She has the cutest handlebar whiskers that crack us up.  She'll often nudge her nose against our hands to let us know she wants to be petted.  It's so cute!  And at night, she is a great sleeper.  She'll nudge up next to you and sleep quietly until you're ready to get up. 

Soft-spoken and gentle, MoonPie prefers peaceful companionship. She’ll show her love through quiet cuddles and her constant, comforting presence. She will do best in a home with adults or older, calm children.  She is also wrestling buddies with her brother Tiger, so if you would like to adopt an adorable bonded pair, you've found them!

Adoption Information – Please Read Carefully

Most of Dexter's Kitties are spayed/neutered, microchipped, SNAP combo tested, and vaccinated according to their age.

Adoption Fees:

 $150 for one kitten

 $250 for a bonded pair

If you  rent  your home, we respectfully ask for your landlord or management company’s contact info to verify that pets are allowed. If you  own  your home, we will confirm ownership through public records.

Please note: We are an all-volunteer team and do our best to respond promptly. Applications that provide the most detailed and helpful information will be prioritized to help us make the best match for both you and the kitty.

  Cats can live 20+ years.  Adopting is a lifelong commitment. Please ensure you have:

– Financial resources for emergency vet care

– A stable and cat-friendly home

– A backup plan for your cat’s care if something happens to you
