Maximus (Max) is all dressed up in his tux and ready to party! He is a great little mix of feisty, playful and gentle. He loves to explore in between checking on his humans. Pick him up, give him little scratches and you’ll be rewarded with sweet purrs and biscuits. He is the rare kitten that likes to be held/cradled like a baby. And, often he'll bump his head against your hands to let you know he wants to be petted. Max can be adopted as a solo cat if he will be given regular attention from his human(s), or as a companion for another pet.
Most of Dexter's Kitties are fixed, chipped, SNAP combo tested and vaccinated for their age. The adoption fee is $125 for a kitten, $200 for two kittens. If you rent your home, we respectfully ask for your landlord or management company's information to confirm pets are allowed. If you own your home, we will check public records to confirm.
If the cat is still on our website, that means the cat is still currently available. If you have questions, your inquiries will be given priority if you submit an application at www.DextersKitties.org. We are a volunteer team and try to respond as quickly as time allows. And finally please remember that cats can live more than 20+ years, so this is a lifetime commitment. Please make sure you have the financial resources, a stable home, and someone to take the cat(s) if something heaven forbid happens and you can no longer care for them.
