Look at that face…Tiger is a feisty, curious, playful little guy who loves to explore but also likes to keep his humans close by.  He loves to have his belly rubbed and show off the little heart on his tummy.

Tiger can be adopted as a solo cat, or as a companion for another pet, or with his sister Porkchop (who he adores wrestling with).  She will be ready for adoption on 11/1.

If he has a pet companion, he will be most interested in playing with his buddy.  When he settles down then he’ll want cuddles with his human.  If he is adopted as a solo pet, he will need regular attention from his human because he doesn’t like to be by himself for long periods (he will whine pitifully).  But as a solo pet he will also be more affectionate because he will bond more deeply with a human (if there isn’t another pet to entertain him).  So either way he’ll be great as a companion for you, or with another pet!

Most of Dexter's Kitties are fixed, chipped, SNAP combo tested and vaccinated for their age. The adoption fee is $125 for a kitten, $200 for two kittens. If you rent your home, we respectfully ask for your landlord or management company's information to confirm pets are allowed. If you own your home, we will check public records to confirm.

If the cat is still on our website, that means the cat is still currently available. If you have questions, your inquiries will be given priority if you submit an application at www.DextersKitties.org.
We are a volunteer team and try to respond as quickly as time allows.

And finally please remember that cats can live more than 20+ years, so this is a lifetime commitment.  Please make sure you have the financial resources, a stable home, and someone to take the cat(s) if something heaven forbid happens and you can no longer care for them.  Thank you for adopting a rescue cat!
