Say hello to Pepper!  Her name fits her coloring and her personality perfectly.  She is spunky, energetic and affectionate.  Her brothers are much bigger than her but she stands her ground and wants to wrestle and play with them until she tuckers out and is ready to cuddle.    Her favorite pastime is chasing her own tail.

Pepper is FeLV positive, which means her lifespan is likely going to be short, we are guessing 1-3 years.  She is currently not showing any symptoms of illness, she seems super healthy, energetic and fun.  But since she is FeLV positive, an adopter needs to be OK with a shorter lifespan.  When her times comes, it will be a fairly quick process, not a long drawn out illness.  If you have room in your heart and life to give Pepper lots of love and a great albeit shortened life, please contact us for more information.  FeLV is not contagious to humans or dogs; it would be best if she is an only pet, or with another FeLV cat.  This might be perfect for a retiree who is worried about outliving their cat or a young adult who would like companionship but not sure about future plans (so a shorter term adoption may be perfect).   Pepper’s siblings Nacho and Pablo are also available for adoption together or separately.
