Meet sweet, gentle, easy going Patty. She is the rare female orange kitty!  For the first two years of her life, Patty lived in a restaurant parking lot, scrounging for food, and doing her best to stay warm during freezing spells.  Her luck changed in March 2022 when a good samaritan brought her and her kitten Ella to our rescue.  She is now fixed, all cleaned up, vaccinated and ready for her new home.  She loves to be petted, and it's a joy to see her playing with toys and enjoying the safe, good indoor life. She is an independent cat which means you can leave her for several hours at a time, and she will entertain herself.  But then Patty is thrilled when you are home and wants you to give her scratches, treats and let her chase her favorite toys. **We will give priority to applications that are able to adopt Patty and Ella together.  Please look up "Ella", medium haired kitten about six months.** 

All of Dexter's Kitties are fixed, chipped, SNAP combo tested and vaccinated for their age. The adoption fee is $125 for a kitten, $200 for two kittens, and $80 for a cat older than six months. If you rent your home, we respectfully ask for your landlord or management company's information to confirm pets are allowed. If you own your home, we may check public records to confirm.    If the cat is still on our website, that means the cat is still currently available.
